CAST:

NOTE:  CHANGE IN REHEARSAL TIME FOR SATURDAY, JUNE 18th - Everything is one hour earlier to accommodate conflicts so we can get through choreography.

Wonderful job picking up some challenging choreography today!!

VOCALS:  Austin has been adding the vocal harmonies to the piano tracks located in the Box cast folder.  Please make sure and use those to help you learn your parts!!

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO WATCH THE CHOREOGRAPHY PRACTICE VIDEOS AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE!  If you are not at rehearsal due to conflicts, please make sure you learn what you missed, and/or ask Chris (Dance Captain) for assistance.

BIOS/HEADSHOTS WILL BE DUE NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, JUNE 22nd.  Please send those to Jessie via email at jessie@georgetownpalace.com.  If you do not get these in by the due date, we will be forced to make up something about you similar to the one for Ron below.  Don't be a Captain Underpants! :-)

Bio Instructions for Actors

Bios should be no more than 100 words written in the third person with show names italicized, not in "quotation marks."  The character you are portraying in THIS production should be italicized, in parentheses and immediately following your name as you wish it to appear in the playbill. You may include favorite roles and special thanks in addition to Palace credits.

Email your bio, and headshot to jessie@georgetownpalace.com on/before the date given to you.

Sample Bio Format:

Ron Watson (Captain Underpants) is excited to be performing in his tenth Palace production.  Favorite roles include Dr. Frank N. Furter in The Rocky Horror Show, Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors and Rum Tum Tugger in CATS.   He made his stage debut at the age of ten as Little Orphan Annie in Waxahachie, Texas.  He was a hit and has been acting ever since.  He thanks his cat, Ralph and his wife Sam, without whom he would be nothing.

DIRECTOR:  Please see Bio instructions in Cast section.  Submit your bio no later than Wednesday, June 22nd.

COSTUMES:

Please see Bio instructions in Cast section.  Submit your bio no later than Wednesday, June 22nd.

  • Kneepads for Pablo (aka Michael) please

  • Kelsey's measurement sheet was completed put in the box on the wall in Jessie & Ron's office.

  • Can we get two rehearsal men's suit jackets with front pocket (Buddy and Chris) and a pocket square by Saturday?

  • "BIG Suit for Pablo needs to have the Gold Buttons (Tweed one) - not sure if this belongs in Props or Costumes

PROPS:

Please see Bio instructions in Cast section.  Submit your bio no later than Wednesday, June 22nd.

Items we need (those that are a priority are highlighted) -

  • NEED DIFFERENT BOA FOR SURE - we had excessive shedding last night with Red Boas so cannot use our first idea - will need one that can stand up to the shaking and flicking on stage.  For rehearsal boa, is it possible to use the black one that Palace used for Gershwin show in fall?  Ask Jessie or Ron about this one if you are not familiar with it.  Bigger feathered boa would also solve problem we are having with weighting it down for the flicking in Don Juan (kept getting caught in chair).

  • Big Suit "shoulder thing" to be used in Shoppin For Clothes (need 3 for show)

  • "BIG Suit for Pablo needs to have the Gold Buttons (Tweed one) - not sure if this belongs in Props or Costumes

  • Electronic cigarette -will be ordering

  • Red Round cafe table (will not be covered) - will try pedestal table on Saturday

  • 8 - Cabaret chairs (painted red) - will paint red after Blonde closes

  • 1 - Black cafe chair (MUST BE STRONG ENOUGH TO STAND ON) - Still need

  • Deep Red, very long boa (needs to be about 20 feet long) - see note above

  • 4 - Song & Dance style hats ("Skimmer hats") - ordered

  • 1 - Sherlock Holmes hat

  • 4 - Round cafe tables (they will not be covered)

SOUND: Please see Bio instructions in Cast section.  Submit your bio no later than Wednesday, June 22nd.

LIGHTING/FX: Please see Bio instructions in Cast section.  Submit your bio no later than Wednesday, June 22nd.

  • Will need lighting change in Shoppin For Clothes to show movement through department store floors when go to look at suits.

SET:

Modifications to set needed:

  • There is a flex in the rehearsal stage floor (located CS Right farthest downstage panel and panel directly upstage of that one).  Can that be fixed please?  Thank you!

  • The steps for the stoops are beautiful and the work is greatly appreciated, but they are simply too large and going to be too heavy for the crew to maneuver with all of the changeover they will need to do for that scene.  We need to reduce the number of steps (1 stoop is 1 step and the other be 2 steps) and take out some of the depth of the landing since no one is going to stand on it?  The wheels are fantastic and work wonderfully for what we need!! THANK YOU!

  • For the faux doors that will go on those stoops, can we drill holes in the landing so the faux doors can have dowels that fit into those to hold it in place?  Make for easy removal at end of scene - would be similar to step railings.

Furniture needed:

PAINT:

Please see Bio instructions in Cast section.  Submit your bio no later than Wednesday, June 22nd.

  • Need a mock-up of our neon sign idea using paracord and fluorescent paint by the end of next week to see if we can use that or need to create a projection of signs/marquees for On Broadway number.

  • One addition:  create 4 "Smokey Joe's Cafe" signs to be added to the music stands the band will be using on the platform.  Will provide more detail and dimensions on what this needs to be next week.
