COSTUMES:

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELPED WITH OUR COSTUME FIXES TODAY!!!!  That was super fantastic!

Note:  Maria ordered the three morphsuits for Shoppin For Clothes.  They are due to be delivered on Tuesday.

  • For crew, would like them to be in "street clothes" from the 1960s/1970s.  We have three of them that would need to be outfitted so can blend in a bit better to our "neighborhood".

PROPS:

Items we need (those that are a priority are highlighted) -

THANK YOU!!!!!

SOUND:

LIGHTING/FX:

Based on using battens in Act One, we need the following:

  • After Dance With Me, need a light change so can move battens in and out while cast singing down stage

  • No blackout needed after Fools Fall in Love. Kelsey will exit upstage through center and men will enter immediately into next song (Poison Ivy) from each panel (SL/SR, 2 Center)

  • One change to "I (Who Have Nothing)" entrance.  Will be using Spanish Harlem soft light on Stefanie behind middle panel for entrance of song and then fade soft light out as he starts singing.

SET:

Modifications to set needed:

THANK YOU FOR FIXES TODAY!!

  • CAN WE PLEASE ADD SMALL ROUND PIECES OF PLYWOOD/WOOD TO BOTTOM OF RED CAFE TABLES?
  • NEED TO ADD A LIP OR VERY SHORT RAIL BEHIND DRUMMER ON BAND PLATFORM TO PREVENT HIS STOOL FROM FALLING OFF THE BACK AS SAFETY PRECAUTION PLEASE!
  • BUILD TABLE: NEED another table to match the 3 red cafe tables.  Also need to add thin layer of plywood or sturdier wood so not as flimsy to all of them.  Actors lean on them and they are not stable.

Furniture needed:

  • Need to mask the non-pedestal shimmy table to hide the leg supports but style it some, but the top CANNOT be covered.

PAINT:

MAIN STAGE FLOOR IS PAINTED - LOOKS GREAT IF CHRIS AND I DO SAY SO OURSELVES!!  ;-)

  • NEED TO PAINT THE ADDED WOOD TO ON STAGE PIANO SHELL AND SUPPORT PIECES (BLACK)

  • Red spray paint is on prop shelves for now; all other red paint was put back in the paint room.

  • We now have all of the cafe chairs we need BUT one is labeled "Do Not Paint".  This one will be our black cafe chair since it is a rental and cannot modify it.  All other metal and wood cafe chairs can be painted red please.  Thank you!!

  • For round table with support legs on rehearsal stage (aka the build crew shimmy table), that needs to be painted black please.
