CAST:

Ya'll looked really good in your costumes last night!  I know there are costume changes and some items that need attention but we are soooooo close!  We are going to get there and you are going to have an amazing show!!

There were a few "almost" lyric issues but you all covered nicely.  Good job!

Cast "Pitch Pipers" are Buddy on Stage Right and Pablo on Stage Left.

So the moral of rehearsal is keep reviewing until you cannot remember what the lyrics are to your favorite musical because all you know is Smokey Joe's (see I made a rhyme there…)

Also, I could not find the packaging for the morphsuits since we plan to return them. Can you let me know where the bags they came in went to?  Thank you!

Thank you for taking care of your trash/cleaning responsibilities.  Maria took care of Chris' trash responsibility for the night.  Remember to check the schedule posted for who takes care of what.

WATCH & PRACTICE WITH THE CHOREO VIDEOS / LEARN YOUR LYRICS / REVIEW YOUR VOCALS...

CREW:

Good job tonight!  We had a lot going on with the added costumes so I appreciate your work!!

Make sure you set/strike tables and chairs through the juliets or the red, NOT the wings.  We have battens coming in and out during those scene changes and I would hate to have someone get hurt.  Thank you!

The Sweep/Mop schedule is posted next to the Crew Sign-In sheet so please make sure and see if you are scheduled so we can get that done first thing when you arrive.

Starting Wednesday, until we have costumes for running crew, please plan to wear all blacks.  Long black pants, black shoes, black shirt (can be short-sleeve).

FACILITY MAINTENANCE:

DIRECTOR:

CHOREOGRAPHER:

MUSIC DIRECTOR:

SM/ASM:

  • Need to stencil numbers

COSTUMES:

  • Tried Morphsuits and that is a no-go.  Need to alter the black face masks Ramona sent to make more form fitted to actors.

  • Top of show pants for Chris ripped and need attention before tonight. - Are sitting on his dressing area table (olive with hint of yellow pants)

  • Need black gloves for Shopping For Clothes (3 pair)

  • For crew, would like them to be in "street clothes" from the 1960s/1970s.  We have three of them that would need to be outfitted so can blend in a bit better to our "neighborhood".  Will email those separately.  Thank you!

PROPS:

Items we need (those that are a priority are highlighted) -

Thank you for fixes!

SOUND:

LIGHTING/FX:

  • Add a blue gel to bassist light on band platform (located SR bottom level)

SET:

Modifications to set needed:

THANK YOU FOR THE FIXES ON PIANO, SHIMMY TABLE, BATTENS AND CAFE TABLES!!  And now for the new items...

  • Strike wenches - they are not providing the speed needed for the number.

  • Add Guide Rail extensions with pins from current guide to juliet walls

  • Add some type of pullback option for moving band platform

  • Need to redo muslin on middle panel

  • Need to add two additional handles onto each stoop for carrying out of the theater.  There is nothing for them to easily grab on one side when it is upright on its wheels.

  • Need to bring in teaser on Batten 11 to hide upper portion of back wall

Furniture needed:

PAINT:

BIG THANK YOU TO SUE FOR ALL HER HELP WITH PAINTING SET PIECES!! If you see her, tell herthank you for volunteering her time to help us!

  • For round table with masking (aka the build crew shimmy table), that needs to be painted black please.

  • Need to repaint the middle panel muslin piece once replaced and consistency determined for what is needed for light to shine through.
