GENERAL: Warmups Mic Check Worked Band platform move with vocals and cast Loaded Projections Ran Act One (46 minutes) and Act Two (51 minutes) During Act Two, actor slipped on feather during Jailhouse Rock dance break Notes Reminder: No more breaking red curtain once house is open from now on. All cast and crew must remain backstage. FYI: For all cast, crew, band and production team, during Opening Night there is always an Opening Night Party hosted by the Palace Guild following the show in the Tin Barn Rehearsal Stage. Everyone is invited and we want you to go and greet all of the people that are there to shower you with praise. There will be food and beverages available (sodas, wine, beer, and water). You are welcome to bring beverages to add to the mix but you are not required to do so. Do plan to stay for a bit after the show, it is always a good time!! |
CAST: Cast "Pitch Pipers" are Buddy on Stage Right and Pablo on Stage Left. You all are looking good!!! Please be mindful of when you are in the wings, we can hear you talking which means you all are too loud. Also keep in mind that if you are wearing a mic, assume it is on if you are in the wings. Thank you for all of your patience yesterday as we worked in the projection cues! PLEASE DO NOT ENTER/EXIT THROUGH THE WING AREA UNLESS SPECIFICALLY BLOCKED TO DO SO!!! In darkness I cannot see you and there are things flying in and out that can hurt you! On Thursday we will be working Trouble for sure with Emily and Stef and our Spot Ops to get timing down. CHECK THE TRASH PLEASE! I had to empty way too many trash cans last night and those are assigned to you all. Make sure you look to see who needs to take care of what and get it taken care of. Clean trash cans means fewer things you don't want to see while in the bathroom or dressing rooms (i.e. things with fur or antennae). WATCH & PRACTICE WITH THE CHOREO VIDEOS / LEARN YOUR LYRICS / REVIEW YOUR VOCALS... |
CREW: Good job tonight!
Running Crew: We will be working the band platform fix again before we start the show. Spots: We will be working Trouble and a couple of other items with cast so we can work on timing for those numbers. Starting Wednesday, until we have costumes for running crew, please plan to wear all blacks. Long black pants, black shoes, black shirt (can be short-sleeve). |
