CAST:

Whew! It was a really long day and thank you all for being patient as we worked out tech things. There are definite items that need attention from you all in terms of dance steps and vocals, but keep working on those as we move through the week. What you all do not see from the stage is that the show is starting to really come together now that we have added the lights and band to your hard work.

Reminder - We DO NOT have rehearsal on Monday so work on what you need to perfect in prep for Tuesday. GET SOME REST!!

BIG SHOUT OUT TO JESSIE FOR ALL HER WORK ON COSTUME FIXES!!! To use a Jessie-ism, you are totally "Amazeballs"!!!

For crew, would like them to be in "street clothes" from the 1960s/1970s. We have three of them that would need to be outfitted so can blend in a bit better to our "neighborhood". Will email those separately. Thank you!

PROPS:

Items we need (those that are a priority are highlighted) -

Show Boa came apart into two pieces while on stage. Needs to be reattached.

The tea is a good color but is too foamy when bottle gets shaken up during the number. Can we do something else for the liquid?

SET:

Modifications to set needed:

Piano needs taller "legs" because we had to use a stack of 3 - 2x4 wood blocks under each leg to lift up the piano shell enough to provide room for pianist to sit correctly. The new "legs" need to be at least 4.5 inches taller than original legs. New legs can have more than 4.5 inches added BUT NOT LESS THAN 4.5 INCHES PLEASE!

NEED CAFE TABLE BUILT: NEED another table to match the 3 red cafe tables. Also need to add thin layer of plywood or sturdier wood so not as flimsy to all of them. Actors lean on them and they are not stable.

We spiked where the Red cafe tables go (orange) but did not mark which goes where. They need to be leveled to not wobble when set on their spike. If you need me to come up there to help with that I can.

NOTE: We have struck railings for stoops. Thank you for the hard work on those but the scene requires just the levels now.

Furniture needed:

Need to mask the non-pedestal shimmy table to hide the leg supports but style it some, but the top CANNOT be covered.

PAINT:

NEED TO PAINT THE NEW LEGS ON STAGE PIANO SHELL AND SUPPORT PIECES (BLACK) once they are added.

Red spray paint is on prop shelves for now; all other red paint was put back in the paint room.

We now have all of the cafe chairs we need BUT one is labeled "Do Not Paint". This one will be our black cafe chair since it is a rental and cannot modify it. All other metal and wood cafe chairs can be painted red please. Thank you!!
